This Privacy Policy explains how Booked by Boyle ("Booked by Boyle," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, sign up for our AI receptionist service, or contact a business that uses our service. Booked by Boyle is based on Long Island, New York.
1. Who this covers
- Website visitors and prospective customers who fill out our forms or contact us.
- Business customers who use Booked by Boyle to handle their missed calls.
- Callers and texters who call or text a business that uses Booked by Boyle.
2. Information we collect
- From you directly: your name, business name, trade, phone number, email address, and anything else you send us.
- From people who contact our business customers: phone number, name if they share it, the content of text conversations, voicemail recordings and transcripts, and job details they provide, such as an address, timeline, or description of the work.
- Business account details: business hours, services offered, receptionist settings, custom questions, notification numbers and emails, and lead and contact records.
- Technical information: basic device and browser details, IP address, and pages viewed, collected through standard website logs.
3. How we use information
- To run the service, including texting callers, holding conversations, and delivering leads and voicemails to the business they called.
- To set up, support, and bill business customer accounts.
- To send service messages about your trial, setup, and account.
- To keep the service secure, prevent misuse, and fix problems.
- To meet legal obligations.
4. Text messaging and mobile information
We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in and consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Our role with caller information
When someone contacts a business that uses Booked by Boyle, we handle that information on behalf of the business. The business decides how its leads and contacts are used. If you are a caller and want to ask about your information, you can contact the business or contact us and we will pass your request along.
6. Who we share information with
- The business you contacted, so they can follow up with you.
- Service providers that help us run the service, such as communications carriers and platforms (for example, Twilio), automation and hosting providers, spreadsheet and storage tools (for example, Google Workspace), and AI model providers that help understand and reply to messages. They receive only what they need to do their job.
- Legal and safety reasons, if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- A business transfer, if Booked by Boyle is ever sold or merged.
We do not sell personal information.
7. AI processing
Conversations may be processed by AI services to write replies and summaries. We share only what is needed for that purpose. The assistant tells people it is an automated assistant.
8. Voicemail and recordings
When a caller leaves a voicemail, it is recorded, transcribed, and sent to the business they called. We keep what is needed to deliver the lead.
9. How long we keep information
We keep voicemails, transcripts, and text conversations for up to 12 months, then delete or de-identify them. Business account details are kept while you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and billing obligations. You can ask us to delete or de-identify your information sooner, and we will unless we are required to keep it.
10. Security
We use established communications and cloud providers and limit access to information to what it takes to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your choices and rights
- Reply STOP to any text to stop messages.
- Contact us to ask what we have, correct it, or delete it.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
12. Children
Our service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
